Jessica Hoffman has over 10 years of information technology experience within the state and federal government sectors.  Eight plus of those years have been served at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) federal government agency in various IT related capacities.

She has been heavily involved in the contract management, facilitation, and execution of security testing for over 200 systems on an annual basis.  Jessica is proficient in CMS agency level policies, such as the Acceptable Risk Safeguards (ARS), as well as, the overarching NIST 800-53 Rev 4, 800-53a, and other NIST publications. 

This experience also includes, but not limited to: FedRAMP, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process, privacy SME, ongoing authorization and continuous monitoring, security artifact review/creation (i.e. System Security Plan – SSP).   

Jessica has also served on the CMS Technical Review Board (TRB) which provides IT related guidance to new and updated systems across the agency, including but not limited to applications, data centers, shared services, and federal cloud service providers.

Jessica has received her B.S. in Computer Information Systems (CIS) and M.S. in Instructional Technology from the Pennsylvania State School of Bloomsburg University.
